Grammar: Present Simple (to) be: I am, you are, he/she/it is, we/you/they are; Past Simple (to) be: I was, you were, he/she/it was, we/you/they were.
What's the weather like? What was the weather like yesterday? What + (verb to be) +subject + like (preposition)? What's Mary like? She is tall and pretty.

Types of sentences they should be able to say:
What' s the weather like? What's the weather like in Norway? It's sunny and cold, it's absolutely freezing, it's quite warm, it's very hot.
What's was the weather like yesterday? It was foggy and cool.
What's the date? It's January 1st, 2014.
Where are you? I am in Germany.
Was it cold in Germany? Yes it was. No, it wasn't.
Is it cloudy in Madrid? Yes, it is. No, it isn't.

Adverbs: First, then next, finally.
Verbs: Have. Daily actions: Wake up, get up, have breakfast, have a shower, get dressed, brush your teeth, wash your face and your hands, walk, study, play in the playground, cook, have lunch, take out the trash, take out the dog for a walk.
Grammar: Irregular plurals: child-children, man-men, woman-women, knife-knives. Watch –watches.
Present Simple: questions . Short answers: Yes, I do; No, I don't. Yes, he/she does; No, he/she doesn't.
